Choosing the language
darasani is fully available in Kiswahili and English. Every person chooses their own language.
Switch the language
Section titled “Switch the language”Use the language switch (Kiswahili | English) at the top of the page, or on the sign-in page above the form. The app changes immediately.
When you are signed in, your choice is saved with your account. It stays the same after you sign out and when you sign in on another device.
Which language you see first
Section titled “Which language you see first”- On the sign-in page: the language of your browser if it is Kiswahili or English, otherwise English.
- After your first sign-in: the default language of your organization, until you choose your own.
Names in two languages
Section titled “Names in two languages”Names that your organization maintains itself, such as class levels, terms and breaks, can be entered in both languages (Name (English) and Name (Kiswahili)). The app shows the name in your language. If a name exists in only one language, that one is shown.
The help pages are also available in both languages. The Help link in the app opens them in the language you are currently using.
