Signing in

Nobody can register on their own. A director or head teacher creates your account and gives you an activation code. With it you choose your own password; nobody else ever sees it.

Activate your account

1. Open the address of your school’s darasani and choose Activate your account below the sign-in form.
2. Enter the Activation code (8 characters) you received.
3. Choose a New password and enter it again under Repeat password. It needs at least 8 characters, and very common passwords such as password123 are not accepted.
4. Choose Activate and sign in.

An activation code works once and is valid for 7 days. If it has expired or was already used, ask the person who created your account for a new one.

Sign in

1. Enter your Phone number or email and your Password.
2. Choose Sign in.

If sign-in fails, the app does not say whether the phone number or the password was wrong; check both. After 5 failed attempts within 15 minutes, sign-in for that phone number or email is blocked for 15 minutes.

Sign out, especially on shared devices

Choose Sign out at the bottom of the menu (on a phone, open the menu with the button at the top left). Always sign out on devices that others use too, for example in the staff room.

For safety, darasani also signs you out automatically:

• after 8 hours without any activity, and
• at the latest 8 hours after you signed in, even if you kept working. If you sign in at 07:30, you have to sign in again at 15:30.

Forgotten password

There is no “forgot password” link. Ask a director or head teacher for a New activation code (see Users and roles). Your old password then stops working, and you choose a new one with the code, as described above.
